| Ms. Nomura's Biography Hi! I'm Ms. Nomura. I am a first year teacher at Fries Elementary School. I graduated from Cal State University Long Beach with a degree in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Credential. I am very excited to be teaching the fifth grade and have had some experience with this grade level because I student taught in fifth grade at Cleveland Elementary School in Long Beach. I have also had a lot of experience working with kids through after school programs in LBUSD and also through a non-profit organization called Camp Fire USA. When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I like to volunteer for an organization called Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches, which is an organization that helps Asians in need for a bone marrow transplant find a match. I also love to camp, draw, and read.
